Grand Mercure Puka Park Resort - Pauanui

The staff was super friendly and really helped us with everything we needed. Our room was comfy and cozy with underfloor heating in the bathroom which was so nice! The heated pool and sauna were just what we needed after a long day of exploring. Oh, and the outdoor hot tub was perfect. Location was great for chilling out in nature!

it was a bit of a hassle getting to our room since the paths were steep, and the restaurant service was kinda slow during dinner.

The location for Pauanui was stunning and lovely, so close to the rainforest and the outskirts of town and western coast of North island, of New Zealand. The superior queen room was new-fashioned, included a shower and hair dryers. Truly enjoyed their good service.

Beautiful setting and wonderful decor in the rooms and in the main building.

We ordered room service and it took over an hour to arrive and was not what we had ordered - this was the only minor drawback to an otherwise perfect stay.

Property was luxurious, we greatly enjoyed this place.

The setting was marvellous, very close to the forest overlooking a beautiful bay on the Coromandel Penninsula in New Zealand. Also, we could visit Royal Billy Point, it was 10 minutes' drive away.

We thoroughly enjoyed the heated flooring in our room. The heated swimming pool was perfect for relaxation, especially after a long day of exploring. The beautiful garden area created a peaceful atmosphere that we loved!

The property is first-rate, it has accommodating staff on shift. This hotel offers marvellous and beautiful location near the sea side, and Hot Water beach. There's Miha Restaurant within 5 minutes walk or so, enjoyed their menu.

The chalets nestled in the native forest are a real treat, offering privacy and comfort. A well-stocked room with a fine view through the trees sets the stage for a peaceful getaway.

The steep terrain makes getting around a hassle, particularly if you're not fond of uphill climbs or have mobility issues. While you can request a golf cart ride, the wait might not be quick. The restaurant food, particularly the curry, fell flat, lacking flavor and taking too long to arrive. Some rooms also seem cramped for the price, especially with the absence of an oven when it was expected.

A good stay with a warm welcome from the concierge! Our room was cozy, with divine underfloor heating and a perfect heated pool, steam sauna, and cedar hot tub. The views were fine, and dinner at the restaurant was a culinary treat. Perfect for a romantic retreat or unwinding with friends.

I loved the heated flooring in the room and the little birthday treat they surprised me with! The heated pool and sauna were perfect for unwinding after a long day. Just be aware that the pathways can get a bit slippery after rain, but it's still worth it. 😊

The views from the balcony were sweet as, but the steep paths made getting around a bit of a hassle for us. The food was great too!
